Telescopic Handler Hire

At Rabbit & Dowling Plant Hire, we have various sizes of telescopic handlers available to hire, from 4m to 17m. These incredibly versatile pieces of machinery, sometimes known as telehandlers, zoom booms or reach forklifts, can tackle many tasks across a building site, depending on the attachment added to the telescopic boom, and are more akin to a crane than a forklift.

4M and 9M JCB telehandlers

The compact JCB Loadall range offers the very highest levels of performance and productivity with world-beating build quality, unrivalled comfort and excellent manoeuvrability.

The 4m JCB 520-40 telehandler is 1.97m in height and 1.56m width, while the 9.5 metre 535-95 model is 2.49m in height and 2.29m in width.

6M, 9M, 10M, 14M and 17M Merlo telehandlers

These telehandlers are part of Merlo’s new range for the agricultural and construction sectors. The innovative, multi-functional equipment allows for ease of use, comfort and high levels of efficiency.

The 6m P27-6 telescopic handler is 1.86 m wide and 1.96 m high, while the 9m 30.9-75g is 2.30 in width and 2.5m in height.

The 10m P30-10 telehandler is 2.10m wide and 2.12m high, while the 14m P38.13 is 2.22m wide and 2.44 high and the 17m P40.17 Merlo telescopic handler is 2.42m wide and 2.55m high.

11M Manitou telescopic handler

The 11m MT11/35 Manitou telehandler is designed to work on construction sites for buildings 2 to 3 storeys tall.

The spacious ergonomic cab offers excellent visibility and is easily accessible through a large door entrance. For maximum on-site performance, it comes equipped with a hydrostatic transmission for power and flexibility when placing loads, as well as frame levelling and 4-wheel drive to easily adapt to any site ground conditions.

This telescopic handler has a transport width of 2.28m and height of 2.42m.
